Well I was born exactly 40 years ago – at 5 am on 11 September 1967.

I’m not sure if one celebrates any birthday after your 21st, especially one which ends your 30s.  However I am reminded on the great response from George Burns when he was asked what was it like to have turned 80,  He replied “Pretty good considering the alternative”

I’m looking forward to a good party tonight. Don’t expect too much blogging tomorrow
