Air NZ helping the war on terror
Oh this is delicious. The Government has been making money from the War on Terror and Iraq by having its 90% owned airline, Air NZ, transport Australian troops there.
And while the Government claims to be unhappy about it, they are not going to force the airline to stop. And MFAT has known about this since January and said they did not think it breached policy.
The Foreign and Defence Ministers are at odds on the issue with Goff saying he is against it, but Peters saying it depends on what the troops were doing. Also Goff has attacked MFAT and Peters is refusing to agree with his criticism. Dissension and chaos rules!
Congrats to Investigate who researched and broke this story.
