Is that what passes for hilarious? Nice production effort, slick editing, not a bad idea. But if your best shot at a joke is that Dick Hubbard is like a Nazi dictator because he doesn’t like billboards, then, um, oh dear.

Tane – in a liberal democracy there is freedomof speech, not here.

You really are off in your own little fantasy world, aren’t you Porcupine? ‘Couples’ aren’t eligibile for the DPB – it’s for solo parents and it pays out a lavish $250/week after tax.

Woman with 4 children hauling in $600 + man with 5 children said in a job he would only be getting $600-$700 pw so he made the economic decision not to get a job.

Please get a life if you think any of them are on $250 pw once you factor in accomodation allowance, cheap housing corp house and supllemantary payments. I’ve been through this not long ago with someone who would have loved tol minimise their income and with WFF the least he could come up with was $30K pa ie $600pw.

Winz had a case go against them when they tried to prosecute a couple who shacked up and so have had to let many of cases go – now they dont persue them anymore, only poor old married people.

And they get to go to uni on the DPB while our kids have to get a loan.

So all you have to do to ‘live it up’ on the DPB is have 9 children? If it’s THAT easy then why doesn’t everybody do it?

Back on Earth, according to the Department of Statistics:

The number of people recieving the DPB has been dropping rapidly for the last five years.
Over 50% of people recieving the DPB have only one child.
70% of them also work part time.
Over 50% recieve the DPB for less than 18 months before returning to employment.

Numbers on unemployment have dropped, the DPB very slightly but the number on benefits altogether has remained about the same. These people mentioned above are dishonest and acting illegally. There were a lot of stories of ACC rip offs on the same ZB session. Not only that welfare dependence is the underelying cause for a lot of our crime, drug dependence and other social problems.

I don’t blame them for my circumstances – I have a well paid job and my kids now hve escape velocity if they need to get out of the country. I just feel sorry for the hard working low wage earners who have to pay for the white Wellington liberals wet dreams.

On wife swap UK a working couple on $27 000 swapped with a couple on a benefit pulling $37 500. they had a hell of an arguement at the end of it and its coused a stink in Britain. The beneficiary couple also tried to pocket the $3800 fee from the TV show without declaring it:
