Spending cuts planned to fund KiwiSaver

Okay hands up if you have heard Clark and Cullen rabbit on how tax cuts will leading to spending cuts, and spending cuts are of course the end of civilisiation. I mean I’ve heard them sya it 100 times or so.

Well Treasury papers released under the OIA show that Dr Cullen planned to cut spending, yes cut spending, to fund Kiwisaver if the take-up was higher than expected.
