In court for his websites

Newstalk ZB reports:

A website editor has been hauled before the High Court in Auckland.

Vince Siemer was arrested at Auckland Airport this morning upon his return from America.

His arrest is a result of a court judgement issued on Monday.

That judgement states Siemer is in contempt of court for defamatory comments about High Court Judges he has made on two websites.

Those websites, stiassny.org and kiwisfirst.co.nz, are rife with personal criticisms about the way certain judges do their jobs.

The prosecution wants Seimer sent to jail.

He has been given the morning to organise a lawyer.

Looking at the sites, I think they reflect more on Mr Siemer than on his targets.
