Nothing beats foreign affairs for PMs

If I was a conspiracy theorist nut I would be tempted to think the PM arranged for the mad Commodore to expel our High Commissioner. Because a PM likes nothing more than dominating the news on foreign affairs, which most NZers are united on.

This applies not just to the current PM. I remember being in Government and that everytime the PM headed overseas for some diplomacy, the polls would rise. Unless someone was mucking things up back home.

Anyway she seems to enjoy beating up the Commodore even more than she does Mercury Energy. A target with far more potential over time!
