Transtasman Therapeutics Products Authority takes another blow
Another blow to the Government’s plan for a costly and bureaucratic Transtasman Therapeutics Products Authority.
Before the last election the Health Select Committee unanimously recommended against the Authority. NZ First and United Future said they were against it.
Then after the election they did a dirty and pledged their support for it. That gave the Government 61 votes to 60 in favour. But since then Taito Phillip Field and now Alamein Gordon Copeland has said they will vote against it, so the vote is nor 59-62 against.
