Red Rasputin has a post on what will be the good and bad of Tony Blair’s ten years in office. His list is:

Positive
# Northern Ireland
# Climate Change
# Third World Debt
# House of Lords
# Low Unemployment
# The Minimum wage
# Gift Aid for charities

Negative
# Iraq

# The Regiments
# Cash for Peerages
# The Labour Party
# The Royal Family

It’s a reasonable list. What strikes me though is how modest it is for ten years of power. Whether or not you agreed with her, Thatcher in ten years implemented a massive agenda which changed the country. Blair will IMO be most remembered for winning elections, rather than what he did after winning.
