The NZ Herald has a nice scoop about how someone hired private investigators to dig up dirt on Dame Margaret Bazley.

Ha – they wasted their money. Dame Margaret has had a reputation for being straighter than straight. The worse they could find was a not particularly desirable ex-husband – but they divorced in 1978!
