National and Brash responsible for improved US relations

Well this is an irony. Labour keeps alleging that Don Brash was selling the country’s sovereignty to the US and planning to repeal the anti-nuclear law, it has in fact transpired that Dr Brash told the US Government, when visiting last year, that there was no prospect of a change to the anti-nuclear policy, regardless of who was in Government.

And this meeting, according to a former high-ranking State Department official was “a pivotal factor in the United States’ positive shift in attitude to New Zealand”.

I wonder why Phil Goff didn’t leak the minutes of that meeting?
