Oh how mature

Monarchist Bill WIlmot has taken two weeks to realise that Lewis Holden, who makes the mistake of trying to rationally debate with him, has been elected President of the Republican Movement.

His exact wording was:

My holiday has come to an end, & it seems that the Republicunt Movement has a new dictator, “President”; Mr Lewis O’Holden!

Yes this is the level of Bill’s debating skills. The Republicunt Movement. Wow Bill some third formers want their swear word back.

But it gets even better, Bill is convinced this is a Labour Front organisation. My involvement is dismissed as it seems I am not a true rightist. Anyway even worse he is convinced Lewis is a Labourite and a member of the Labour Party. His proof?

1) Lewis was once seen talking to Darren Hughes
2) Lewis once blogged that his father’s side of the family supported Labour

Well case closed. His uncle and grandfather vote Labour, and he got seen talking to Darren Hughes. Guilty as charged.

As it so happens the Republican Movement has a nice range of people involved. Some are non party political. Others are from National, ACT, Labour, Greens – the whole spectrum.
