NZ Super Fund
Okay here’s my list of companies I don’t want the NZ Super Fund to invest in:

Yep that’s it. If Dr Cullen is going to forcibily take tax off me to stick into a fund for future superannuation, I want it to get the best returns it can. So long as it is legal (no investing in Osama) go for it. And the Fund Guardians have done an amazing job with their investments. Hell I wish I could give them my spare cash to invest just for me.
Helen claims it is dirty to invest in tobacco companies. Hello – her Government rakes in millions of dollars in tax from these companies.
Also one thing people need to know, is none of these companies are lacking capital or people wanting to invest in them. If the fund sells its shares in Boeing, Boeing won’t give a shit as someone else will buy them.
No Right Turn even lists casinos and arms companies as no go zones. Good God why? The NZ Army buys guns from arms companies. The NZ Govt licenses casinos all over NZ. Talk about cutting off our nose to spite ourselves.
