The Malthouse

Damn. The Malthouse on WIllis Street is closing, or moving anyway to Courtenay Place.

I loved the location. Was a nice central place to meet people for a drink. Three of the four offices I regularly go to are within 200 metres of the Malthouse, so it was a regular haunt. On a nice day the balcony was the place to be.

I’ll have to find a new regular in town. The Backbencher is of course my regular in Thorndon.
