Spiders Attack

Call my suspicious and cynical, but are there really over 22,000 spider attacks a year which require ACC attention?

Three of them were reportably from tarantulas, which is unusual as we have none in NZ. Maybe those happened overseas.

What would be interesting is any stats on how many people have made more than one claim in the last two years for spider bites.
