Trevor vs Bob

I have a confession to make. In a perverse way I sometimes (only sometimes) quite like Trevor Mallard. Don’t get me wrong – I deplore some of his actions, and disagree with most of his policies. And he has probably (righfully) doomed his chances of replacing Cullen As Finance Minister with his behaviour over Dr Brash’s alleged affair which was disgraceful.

But a part of me responds to larrikins.

And most Ministers, if accussed by an MP of whacking him on the head, would do a profuse apology.

But Mallard comes out and tells Bob Clarkson to act like a “real Kiwi joker” and to “stop squealing like a baby”. Priceless. His press secretary must be wincing 🙂
