The Sutch case
A former SIS office has written a book about his time in the SIS, and how he remains convinced William Sutch was a spy for the Soviet Union.
Notwithstanding the acquittals, is there anyone who doesn’t think he was a spy? I thought it was near universally accepted.
UPDATE: Stephen Franks has a first hand view of the case, with Sutch’s lawyer declaring to him that he got the “spy” acquitted.
