The $1,000 payment

Labour MP Taito Phillip Field gave Sunan Siriwan $1,000 a few days ago. Siriwan’s lawyer has said Siriwan has signed an affidavit which makes a serious allegation relating to that money.

For those who have been busy focusing on the pledge card scandal, this one has been ticking along also. Siriwan has now changed his story from what he told Ingram. He says he merely told Ingram what Field told him to say, and that Field had always promised his a visa in exchange for work on his place.
