JPs suppress their own names

Very extraordinary to have a judicial officer (two JPs) suppress their own name. I mean even in Iraq the identities of the Judges trying Saddam are public.

One JP is quoted as saying he wants to keep a low public profile. Umm, if that is the case then you should decline doing court duty (not all JPs do court duty).
