What Clark really wants

It’s fascinating to see Clark’s thoughts on electoral funding. First of all she wants to ban or restrict third party advertising. This has never ever been a problem to her when most third party advertising supported Labour but now it is a bad thing.

Then she wants to discourage any donation of greater than $250.

Now she has come out and said it should be illegal for National to be able to campaign outside the 90 day period, saying it breaches the intent of electoral law.

Why doesn’t Helen just come out and announce what she really wants. That it shall be illegal to attack her Government.

Seriously – she is talking about restricting the ability of opposition parties to spend their own funds outside of an election campaign.
