Common Sense Prevails

Normally we have to rely on juries for common sense in the justice system, which they supply when they time after time let off the farmer who fires some pellets at the burglars.

This tme the common sense comes from Judge Louis Bidois who discharged without conviction Constable Jonathan Erwood for driving with excess blood alcohol, after an off duty Elwood delivered oxygen tanks to a crash scene as no-one else was available.

The Judge went on to say he hoped Elwood kept his job, which I am sure he will do.
