Advanced Internet Network Launched

The the Kiwi Advanced Research and Education Network (Karen) was launched last night, and credit should be given the Government for supporting this so our universities and CRIs etc can keep up with the rest of the world.

The network speed is around 10 Gb/sec so will allow for terabytes of data to be able to be transferred quickly.
