59% say Field should go

A One News Colmar Brunton poll has found voters want Field to resign by a 2:1 majority.

I’m surprisingly not quite in the resign camp. I think the issue of cheap labour on his houses might just fall short on the mandatory resignation scale. Maybe – if it had been admitted to, and apologised for.

What is unforgivable though is what appears to be the cover-up to the Ingram inquiry. Now we still don’t know the full truth of what happened. So I don’t want Field gone. I want an inquiry with powers to discover the truth.

Remember it would take one phone call to Qantas from a properly authorised investigator or inquiry to ascertain if Field has been telling the truth or not.
