Competitive Board Game Playing
I enjoy a good board game as much as anyone, and not only play them with friends fairly regularly (Knights and Cities of Catan rocks!) but I have a wee bit of a reputation for being extremely competitive. This has rubbed off on some of the others so winning becomes extremely important to be able to call the others losers until the next game.
How-ever not even I get as competitive as this game of scrabble in Rotorua.
During the game Brendon Tahu was bashed 40 times with a silver aluminium baseball bat, and stabbed five times in the back.
Two of his fellow scrabble players are charged with his murder. Annoyingly though we don’t know who won the scrabble!
