May 2006 Polling Newsletter
Curia’s May 2006 polling newsletter is out. It was ready last week but was delayed until a mailing list has been arranged for it (as ISPs now block bulk e-mails from users).
The summary is:
The latest weighted summary of public polls sees the Maori Party holding the balance of power in Parliament, despite National having a 4% lead over Labour.
In both New Zealand And Australia, voters disapprove of their respective budgets. The November US elections get a month closer with little good news for the Republicans. Canadian PM Steven Harper rises in the polls despite, or because of, a war with the press gallery. And in the UK David Cameron is the beneficiary of a crumbling Labour Party.
The full newsletter with graphs and commentary is now only available by e-mail. You can automatically subscribe yourself to receive future copies at this page. Or send an e-mail to newsletter@curia.co.nz.
