How long?
John Armstrong reports on how Don Brash asked the all important question of Labour yesterday, cutting through their spin. It was a simple question:
How many years did Labour have to be in office before it started accepting responsibility rather than abdicating it?
The answer of course is X+1. Labour seemingly never admit to responsibility for anything. Hell they’ll blame the weather if need be. Never mind it is their refusal to amend the RMA, their setting up of a new electricity commission which causes so many delays in infrastructure.
The X+1 formula is not unknown in politics of course. A few years ago when somone asked what the maximum age for Young Nationals is, someone replied “DPF+1” 🙂
