A Government booze-free day

Jim Anderton has proposed an annual booze-free day. He obviously has too much time on his hands.

How about something more useful like a tax-free day? One day a year the Government says you can keep everything you earn that day.

I wonder how long it will take for the Government to move from smoke-free days, and booze-free days to bring back car-free days and then no doubt sex-free days. I mean hey they now want to decide what sort of soft drinks kids can buy.
