Kathryn Ryan

Kathryn Ryan starts work tomorrow as the new host of the Nine to Noon on National Radio.

Lenghy profiles and interviews of her are in both the Sunday Star-Times and Herald on Sunday.

Leah Haines in the HoS repeats advice Kathryn gave her years ago on the downside of provincial media postings:

“You need to understand that your sex life is over unless you are prepared to lower your standards,”

Heh. I knew a few journalists who have done provincial jobs and would agree with that 🙂

Anyway good luck to Kathryn for her first day tomorrow. I doubt she will need it though.
