You go Heather

I am super impressed by Heather Roy joining the Territorials, for many reasons. Firstly I respect anyone who joins the Armed Forces. Doing so as an MP is an excellent thing also, as it means Parliament has some first hand experience of the requirements of the Armed Forces. And also doing so as a 42 year old mother of five is a lovely skewing of stereotypes.

Very funny comment from Phil Goff in the article about how he told Heather she would now have to salute him 🙂
