More Labour candidates

In an article mainly on David Benson-Pope, the Herald reports towards the end of the article, that Labour has now completed all selections in Auckland. As predicted by the Herald a few months ago, Conor Roberts is a candidate – for Rodney, and Jordan Carter is standing in Hunua. Both are former Presidents of Young Labour. Conor is one of those guys you want to hate – just because everyone raves on about what a nice guy he is.  Sadly he is actually that nice. Obviously I know Jordan well, and he is a very capable political operator. Now neither are at all likely to win their seats, but will be interesting to see how they go with list rankings.

I’ve updated my list of 2008 candidates. If anyone can supply the names of the Labour candidates for Botany, East Coast Bays, Helensville and North Shore that would be appreciated. Annoyingly neither Labour nor National have their candidates to date listed on their websites.  This would be a useful feature seeing it is election year!
