VSM/VSU protests in Australia

All around the world students and others have marched for freedom, for choice and democracy. However in Australia 400 students marched to protest against students being given the freedom to choose whether or not to join a student association. They got a bit rowdy with 24 arrests.

40 Young Liberals did a counter protests. Excellent. Reminds me of when ACT on Campus joined a march in Dunedin for free education and turned up with placards calling for tax cuts also 🙂
