Trade Me Phishing

Be careful if you have received an e-mail purporting to be from Trade Me – it may be a phishing scam.

If the e-mail has a subject line of “TradeMe Account Security Measures” then do not click on the links there and do not enter in your username and password.

I haven’t seen the phishing e-mail myself but details are on Keith Ng’s blog.

Not quite sure what the thieves would do with lots of trade me accounts, but whatever it is – it won’t be in your interest!
