NZ and Iran – funding Hamas together

Hamas continues to refuse to renounce terrorism, and in fact welcomed the recent suicide bomb attack. This had led the US, the EU to suspend aid to the Hamas-controlled Palestinian Authority.

However this is not a problem for Helen and Winston who continue with their terrorist-aid programme. And compare this to what Winston said on 6 April:

The fact is that we are in the very good company of the European Commission, the UK, the Netherlands, Spain and France in doing so

Well the EU has stopped its aid, but NZ’s position has now changed from following the EU. Now it is:

Prime Minister Helen Clark said yesterday that New Zealand would be guided by the attitude of such bodies as Unicef and the UN Relief and Work Agency and New Zealand’s friends in them.

Presumably she means Iran, as the main country now funding Hamas, as well as New Zealand.
