First Government Blog

Big kudos to NZAID who have established the first official blog for a Government agency – NZAID Field Blog.

This should work very well as the aid projects NZAID are involved in, on our behalf, will often be interesting.

Hopefully other agencies will look at what parts of their operations could benefit by having staff blog about what they are doing. I’d love to see a Treasury blog to highlight some of the research they undertake, not just their reporting and statutory roles.
