$8,000 per snail

NZPA has calculated that Solid Energy will have to pay $8,000 per snail to move them, to allow their new mine.

Is there anything wrong with just like grabbing them all, putting them in a box, drive over to their new home, and let them out?

I’m happy to move them for say $500 per snail ($125,000).
