Spammer caught conspiring to kill witness

A jailed spammer has been caught trying to arrange a hit on a witness in relation to drug charges he is also facing.

Not many people know this but today many of the major league spammers are hard core criminals, eastern European mafia, organised crime etc. The days when they were just ‘sharp’ operators trying to make money is generally long gone.

Talking of which submissions on the NZ anti-spam bill close on 31 March. Hopefully by the middle of the year we will be up with the rest of the world in being able to take action. People may recall an article last week on hos it is though a major US spammer who used to send out 50 million a day may have moved here.
