Deborah Coddington calls her ACTS second MP, ouch!.
Whats with Bain , she could do no ‘right’ last year now she does National party puff pieces EVERY week

She is tough girl from a farm and I have huge respect for her. But I would not like to get on the wrong side of her!!!! But she stands up to the Labour Party and I admire her enormously for that, she is needed.

Tim: I agree that Judith Collins has shown a rotweiller streak, and that’s good in political debate, but at the same time she’s also shown a tendency to play the person a bit more than the (tennis?) ball.

I’d suggest that Stephen Franks was, overall, a much better debater in a forum where platitudes usually reign supreme. Whatever one might think of his political views, he at least demonstrated a refreshingly no-nonsense approach, and was never afraid to shake the tree during political debates.

As a Vietnam veteran Judith C has my deep respect and admiration. When we produced ‘the map’ it was Judith that picked up the issue and ran with it. She did the hard yards and cobbled together a majority on the Health Select Committee to force the Committee Chair (Chadwick) to acceed to an Inquiry against the wishes of the then Minister (Hawkins). The rest is history.

With the Winteringham Working Party due to report their recommendations to Government by the end of the month it is to be hoped that the whole sorry saga can be finally laid to rest.

But without the help and support of Judith Collins nothing would have happened.
