How to get a human

Crikey pointed me to this website which lists for hundreds of major US companies how to quickly get hold of a human being via their automated phone system.

This is a great idea. It can sometimes take ages to actually talk to a real person with these systems. The worst one I know of is the US Embassy. Knowing some DDIs there is a life saver.

I’d be happy to host a NZ list of how to find a human on automated phone systems. If anyone out there knows the shortcuts post them as a comment and I’ll compile them.
