Aaron’s Ironman Race Report
I’ve blogged several times in the past about Aaron Fleming who has given up many months of his life to train for the Taupo Ironman to raise money for cystic fibrosis research. His goal was to raise $5,000 and he made $16,000 plus got a mass of publicity for them through the media. An excellent job.
Aaron’s race report is over the break. It’s a great read and I can’t wait to see the TV coverage which is Saturday 18 March on TV 2 at 4.00 p.m.
2006 New Zealand Ironman Race Report
Ironman week was one of the greatest feelings in my life! The atmosphere was amazing, and I was a part of one of the world’s most internationally represented events. Athletes from over 40 different countries converged on Taupo to take up the 3.8km swim/180km cycle/42.2km run New Zealand Ironman.
