171 e-mails in five hours

Now this is silly. During the afternoon session on peering I multi-tasked and finally managed to empty my inbox which had grown to 25,000 e-mails. I usually struggle to keep it down and every two months or so do a big purge.

I get back to the hotel and open up Outlook proud that my inbox is now empty. I then reconnect and between 1 pm and 6 pm I have received 171 e-mails! No wonder I get behind.

Only around two thirds are from mailing lists. Around 40 need replies. Sigh. Who the eff invented e-mail anyway.

Oh wait I know the answer to that one. I met him today! Bastard.
