Support TV3

TV3 are showing wonderful common sense over the Southpark controversy saying:

“If Catholics feared they might be offended by the ‘Bloody Mary’ episode of the South Park show, they should switch it off.”

Hear hear. How dare they try to force their views on all the non Catholics who want to watch it. Mind you it was very amusing seeing Lyndsay Freer on behalf of the Church describing the episode on the TV News. She gave an excellent description which will help boost ratings massively.

Anyway not sure if the opposite of a boycott is a girlcott but to show my support for TV3 refusing to bow to censorship of its C4 channel I am going to watch TV3 News instead of TV One News for at least the next month. I urge others to also support TV3 for their stand.

I also bet you that probably a record number of Catholics will now watch the programme, intrigued by what the fuss is about. And many will laugh. It’s hard not to.

I’m also surprised they never objected to the episode that shows Jesus as a submachine toting fighter!
