Russel Norman declares he is not a communist!

Frog Blog has a response from future Greens co-leader Russel Norman to Trevor Loudon’s posting about his Marxist-Leninist background.

The short version is that Russel is no longer a communist because of “the fundamental lack of democracy in Marxist-Leninist ideology” and their lack of commitment to environmental sustainability.

Personally I’m not that worried about people’s former views as even Stephen Franks was once a stinking commune communist hippy 🙂
