Internet Research by Jurors
I’m on National Radio’s Checkpoint just after 6 pm talking about the case of the Jury which conducted its own research on the Internet of what the legal defintions of burden of proof and beyond reasonable doubt are.
My main comments are that this is as much a case about stupidity as the Internet, but we will also chat about the implications of the Internet in other areas such as criminal backgrounds of defendents and supression orders.
Radio NZ has an audio file of the interview here. Was a fun discussion.
