Greens want Police to shoot people dead

The Greens have come out against the NZ Police even trialling the use of Taser stun guns. They specifically don’t even want them to be used even against armed offenders (though saying if introduced they want it restricted to armned offenders).

So let’s think through this positions of the Greens. The Police are confronting am armed offender who refuses to surrender and is a threat to police officers or civilians. They do not have the option of using a taser so instead they’ll have to use a Glock and shoot the offender dead.

So this makes the Greens the party of Dirty Harry!
