Bye bye to 5c

On 31 July the 50c, 20c and 10c coins all shrink to a smaller size and on 1 November the 5c coin disappears as legal tender.

When I was in North America I ended up accumulating a large number of 1c and 2c coins which are basically worthless so personally getting rid of smaller coin values works for me.

I feel a bit sorry for the companies which operate coin-operated machines as I imagine they will have to spend millions reconfiguring their machines.
