Restorative Justice for Trees

The news that someone who cut down a tree without permission has had to attend a restorative justice session with victims has amused me greatly with visual images of a bunch of trees or even ents sitting in a room talking about how the death of poor Johnny Pohutukawa has affected them so much, and how they are missing him.
