Gender divided footpaths in Iran

The latest progressive step from our friend the President of Iran is the introduction of male and female footpaths. You see can’t have a man and a woman walking together now.

This just reinforces my belief that under *no* circumstances can Iran be allowed to develop nuclear weapons. I have absolutely no faith that they won’t use them to attack and destory Israel. And hey so what is a few million of their citizens die in the reprisals – they’ll all go to heaven.

I suspect the clock is ticking for a peaceful resolution – months, maybe even weeks. You see just yesterday they tore off the UN seals on their nuclear “power” facility and have resumed their nuclear programme.

And for the record, I am in favour of force to stop Iran’s nuclear programme. I’d rather it wasn’t necessary, but if it is – then by a long way it is the lesser of two evils.

UPDATE: It seems the Iranian President belongs to a sect which is so extreme, even the other Mullahs consider it fringe and crazy. It was driven underground in 1983 by the Ayatollah Khomeini for being too extreme!!!
