Fijian Coups

Sitiveni Rabuka is warning that Fiji is on the verge of another (the 4th?) military coup. Sadly, I think he is right.

Of course Rabuka is entirely to blame for this. Once you have established the precedent that military coups are a way of getting rid of unpopular democratic governments, then you can never easily turn the clock back. Rabuka himself should have been tried for treason.
