Drinking on NYE

Police have said they want youths on New Year’s Eve to find new ways of celebrating that do not involve excessive drinking.

Umm, while I support the sentiment, I think the Police are ratehr optimistic about their ability to change something which has probably gone on for oh say 2,000 years or so.
