Dom Post on Telecom

The Dominion Post devotes its editorial to why the Government should get tough with Telecom.

They correctly note that “Ms Gattung should be praised by her shareholders for that approach. Her job is to protect Telecom’s interests and ensure it maintains its dominance and its profits.”

However the Government has a different role, and that “Mr Cunliffe must take a critical look at whether the time has come for regulation, rather than allowing Telecom to dominate the game”

The NZ Herald also has a column by Mathew Ingram on how Canada has shown the way to boosting high-speed Internet.
