It had to happen. In Arizona a woman tried to claim that her fetus should count as a person and allow her to use the high occupancy vehcile lane, and hence avoid the $367 fine for improper use of it.

The Phoenix Police said they thought it would be unreasonable to require officers to have pregnancy testers!

The woman lost her case.
